Snow Day!

What fun ... our first snow day! Mathis spend most of the day checking the progress from the window and announcing ... it's still snowing! We didn't venture out until the next day when I had the kids bundled up and ready to play when Bard came home. They were wearing so many layers they could hardly move, especially Kate who had on Mathis' flannel shirt, shoes, and coat as part of her getup.

Bard takes the shuttle to work which drops him off just down and up the hill from our house, so we try to meet him as often as we can. Mathis loves to run down the hill as soon as we see him and Bard says it's one of his favorite memories.


Kate prefers to wait at the top of the hill and get the princess treatment from Daddy.


The kids loved being outside but weren't too crazy about getting snow on them :)
