Old Fashioned Day!

One of our favorite days of the year at our church is Old Fashioned Day. It's pretty much Little House on the Prairie all over again. Some of the fun includes dinner after church, face painting for the kids (and one adult ;) a Country Store, an Auction, and, of course, dressing up 1800's style. I set out to make some chaps and a vest for Mathis and a dress for Kate and finished around 8:00 Sunday morning, whew!! It was worth it, though, as the kids loved their outfits and they did look pretty cute. Mathis was thrilled that he got to wear his holster and take his gun and horse to church! Of course, getting pictures of a 1- and 2-yr. old are another story. This is the best one we could get ... they were hungry! Check out the other pictures here.
