To celebrate Kate's birthday we enjoyed some of the most delicious homemade ice cream ever made. We used the raw milk and cream we get from an Amish farmer and it was so good we ended up eating the whole 2 qts. for dinner. And it was quite a healthy dinner too ... can't beat raw milk and cream!!
When we tried to take the cup away from Kate's mouth, she'd put her hands on it to make sure we couldn't get it away.
This is about all we saw of Mathis. He got the big bum when he fell forehead first on the asphalt at Grandma's while playing chase with the cousins. The first time he saw himself in the mirror, he said, "Eww, yucky!"
Smiles all around :)
The next day we celebrated with the family. Kate was pretty amazed to see everyone singing to her. She looked so beautiful in her darling birthday dress from Grammie and Papa.
