The warm weather graced us for a few days last week and we couldn't stay in for long. Dishes and clothes were left unwashed, toys abandoned on the floor and even Bard neglected his studies for a while. It felt so good to get outside and work in the yard clearing leaves, admiring the flowers, picking up projects where we left them last fall, and of course, hanging the laundry on the line! Kate loved crawling around the yard, putting leaves, rocks, grass, dirt, and a few other things in her mouth. Mathis enjoyed getting to know his slide and sandbox truck again. One of his favorite things to do in the yard is run full speed from here to anywhere. He also loves playing in the dirt with his shovel, moving rocks just for the fun of it and "helping" Bard. He begs to go outside and "work with Daddy!" Click on the picture below to see our yard springing to life and us enjoying it :)
