Hello ... hello ... anyone there? Surely you've been sitting on the edge of your chair waiting for vacation pictures ... right? Oh okay, maybe we've been too busy playing outside. The weather this summer has been absolutely fabulous ... August averages temps in the 80's-90's with lots of our wonderful humidity. Not our favorite time of the year. This year it's been 70's to low 80's in the daytime and 50-60's at night with hardly a hint of humidity ... unbelievable! There have been a few hot days here and there, but they've been the exception. Anyway, we've been busy and have lots of pictures to share, so let's get the vacation pictures out of the way.
I hope you'll forgive me for just posting pictures and not a lengthy description of our vacation! Or maybe you'll be grateful! We packed a lot into a week. We spent one day each way traveling, which went extremely well for having three littles. We had one wonderful relaxing day in Redwood City. Our dear friends, the Hackbusches, visited from Reno and Bard's grandparents spoiled us rotten! The kids had a wonderful time playing with toys from years past. Grammies doll was a favorite with Kate and Mathis loved playing with Daddy's trucks. I think Bard kind of enjoyed them too ;) Asilomar was wonderful as always. Great food, wonderful times spent with family, and long naps every day! What more could you ask for? It was fun to see all the boy cousins and look forward to the three new babies on the way. It went by all too fast.
